Vitamin K

Vitamin K is a group of fat-soluble vitamins found in many different foods.  It comes in several different forms and subtypes, but K1 and K2 are the primary forms. It has a co-beneficial relationship with Vitamin D and Calcium. When combined, the body uses them all more effectively.

Vitamin K helps with blood clotting and bone strength, but also supports your heart by activating proteins that prevent the deposit of calcium in your arteries. When taken by itself as a supplement, it is best consumed at mealtime alongside a serving of healthy fats.
